This is a small coin purse with a clasp, handmade by craftsmen in Kyoto, Japan.
Very popular series in Japan and here in Norway.
It is made of moderately thick and sturdy canvas and dyed by hand. If you take good care of it, you can use it for decades.
Each pouch is handmade, so the pattern may vary slightly from one to another.
It is a wonderful feeling to carry around a cute pouch made with traditional Japanese craftsmanship every day, isn’t it?

Clasp: iron
Beads: plastic
Outer and inner lining: 100% cotton
Care
Not washable. When it gets stained, moisten a cloth with neutral detergent diluted with water and squeeze it lightly, then pat the stained area lightly.
Avoid storing in direct sunlight.
The tightness of the opening and closing of the clasp can be adjusted with pliers or the like.
