Soba cup Matsu: Hasami ware

Hasami ware is a pottery with a history of more than 400 years, and in the late Edo period Hasami-town was the largest porcelain production in Japan.

There was a time when Hanko-stamps were used to produce tableware in large quantities, and these cups are made using the same old-fashioned process.
Both the making of the stamps and the stamping of the seals are still done by hand by craftsmen today.

It is a practical item that can be used for a variety of purposes such as boiled vegetables, coffee, desserts, and sake.
