Mino ware: Shippo Chopsticks rest

This cute chopstick rest is a modern take on a traditional Japanese pattern.

The bird depicted is called Chidori, a good acting pattern that is said to bring good fortune.

The chopstick rest is not only cute, but also has an ingenious design that prevents the chopsticks from rolling down when placed on it.
