What is Tobikanna?

Tobikanna is a distinctive pattern commonly found on Japanese pottery. It’s characterized by a series of evenly spaced, parallel lines created by pressing a tool into the clay while it’s still wet. This technique, requiring precision and skill, results in a visually interesting and tactile surface.
