Genmaicha is one of Japan’s most popular teas made by mixing Yanagi Bancha leaves with roasted rice.

This Genmaicha is brass yellow in color, with a light astringency and a rounded finish.

Its nutty pecan-like aroma and buttery sweet taste make it a very soothing and satisfying tea.

Characteristics
Taste:
The sweetness of the roasted glutinous rice surrounds the astringency of the tea leaves.
The longer you brew, the more the astringency is released and the more you can enjoy the numbing astringency and fragrance.

The subdued green color with a slight yellow tinge.
A combination of the transparent beige color of the roasted brown rice and the light green of the tea leaves.

Aroma:
